Welcome to E-RIDERZ. This website is operated by E-RIDERZ PTY LTD (ABN: 28 661 176 183). Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to E-RIDERZ. By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”, “Terms”), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink.

1. LEGAL STATUS OF PRODUCTS (IMPORTANT)

1.1. Non-Road Vehicle Classification: Many products sold by E-RIDERZ, including high-performance electric unicycles (EUCs), are imported as "Non-Road Vehicles" or "Motorised Recreational Devices." These products are designed principally for use on private property, off-road trails or closed-course racing environments. 

1.2. Usage Compliance: Laws regarding the use of EUCs on public roads, footpaths, and shared paths vary significantly between Australian States and Territories. It is your sole responsibility to check and comply with your local regulations. 

1.3. Speed & Power Limits: High-performance models capable of exceeding 25 km/h are generally not legal for use on public infrastructure. By purchasing, you acknowledge that you have been informed of these restrictions.

2. PURCHASE AND PAYMENT

2.1. Order Acceptance: A contract is formed only when you receive an "Order Confirmation" email. We reserve the right to refuse any order for any reason, including limitations on quantities or errors in pricing/product information. 

2.2. Pricing: All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST unless otherwise stated. Prices are subject to change without notice. 

2.3. Payment Methods: We accept major credit cards (Square), PayPal, and other methods specified at checkout. Payment processing fees (e.g., 2.6% for PayPal) may be non-refundable in the event of a change-of-mind return.

3. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

3.1. Carriers: We ship Australia-wide using reliable couriers. We cannot ship to PO Boxes or parcel lockers. 

3.2. Processing Time: Orders placed by 11:59 PM are typically processed the next business day. 

3.3. Delivery Estimates: Standard delivery ranges from 1–4 business days for metro areas and 3–10 days for remote locations. 

3.4. Risk of Loss: Title and risk of loss pass to you upon delivery to the carrier. We recommend opting for "Package Protection" where available to cover loss or damage in transit.

4. WARRANTY AND REPAIRS

4.1. Standard Warranty: We provide a one (1) year limited repair warranty on the main product (Motor, Controller, Battery) for manufacturing defects. 

4.2. Component Specifics:

  • Frame: Three (3) years.

  • Charger: One (1) year.

  • Consumables: Tyres, tubes, brake pads, and decorative LEDs are excluded from warranty unless faulty upon arrival. 

4.3. Voiding Warranty: Warranty is voided by water damage, unauthorized modifications, physical damage from accidents/drops, or use in a manner not intended by the manufacturer. 

4.4. Service Location: Warranty repairs are conducted at our Tingalpa, QLD workshop. Customers are responsible for the cost of shipping items to us for assessment.

5. RETURNS AND REFUNDS

5.1. Australian Consumer Law (ACL): Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. 

5.2. Change of Mind: We offer a 15-day return policy for unopened and unused items in original packaging. A restocking fee may apply, and original shipping costs + payment processing fees are non-refundable. 

5.3. Return Process: You must contact hello@e-riderz.com.au to obtain a Return Authorization before shipping any item back.

6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

6.1. Assumption of Risk: Riding an electric unicycle involves inherent risks of serious injury or death. By purchasing, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with the use of the product. 

6.2. Indemnity: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless E-RIDERZ PTY LTD from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the products, especially use that violates local traffic laws or safety recommendations. 

6.3. Protective Gear: We strongly recommend the use of full protective gear (Helmet, Wrist Guards, Knee/Elbow pads) at all times.

7. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Queensland, Australia. You irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that State.
