E-Riderz Exchange Policy

At E-RIDERZ, we understand that choosing the right ride is a big decision. If you realize you’ve chosen the wrong model or size, we offer a flexible exchange process within 15 days of purchase to help you get the perfect fit.
1. ELIGIBILITY FOR EXCHANGE
To be eligible for an exchange, the product must meet the same "Change of Mind" criteria outlined in our Returns Policy:
Timeframe: Request must be made within 15 days of receipt.
Condition: The item must be unused, unopened, and in its original, undamaged packaging.
Used Items: Once a vehicle has been powered on, ridden, or the odometer has moved, it is ineligible for exchange unless a manufacturing defect is present (see our Warranty Policy).
2. EXCHANGE CATEGORIES
2.1. Upgrading to a Higher-Priced Model: If you wish to exchange your item for a more expensive model:
We will invoice you for the price difference between the original and the new product.
You will be responsible for the shipping costs of the replacement item.
Once the original item is returned and inspected, and the invoice is paid, your new ride will be dispatched.
2.2. Downgrading to a Lower-Priced Model: If you wish to exchange your item for a less expensive model:
We will calculate the difference in price.
We will deduct the original shipping costs incurred by E-RIDERZ from this difference.
Any remaining balance will be issued as a refund or store credit.
2.3. Like-for-Like Swaps (Size/Colour): If you are swapping for the same product in a different colour or size:
The customer is responsible for return shipping and the shipping cost of the new item.
3. SHIPPING COSTS FOR EXCHANGES
Customer Responsibility: For all "Change of Mind" exchanges, the customer must arrange and pay for the return shipping to our Tingalpa workshop.
Risk in Transit: The customer assumes all responsibility for the item until it is received and signed for by E-RIDERZ. We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured courier service.
In-Person Exchanges: You are welcome to perform an exchange in person at our Brisbane showroom to save on shipping costs, provided the exchange has been pre-authorised.
4. FREE ITEMS AND BUNDLES
Promotional Items: Any "Free Gifts" or bundle items received with the original purchase must also be returned in unused condition if the primary item is being exchanged.
Like-for-Like: Free items (such as protective pads) can only be exchanged for a different size/colour of the same product. They cannot be upgraded or traded for cash/credit.
5. HOW TO REQUEST AN EXCHANGE
Contact Us: Email hello@e-riderz.com.au with your order number and the details of the item you wish to switch to.
Authorisation: We will provide an Exchange Authorisation and a quote for any price differences or shipping fees.
Return & Inspection: Send your item back to us. Once our technicians confirm the unit is in "as-new" condition, we will process the exchange.
